Summary: Our stay in Carnelian Bay was just what the doctor ordered. The place was clean, spacious, and as advertised. The property manager was excellent and went out of his way to answer questions that I honestly should have known if I read the directions more carefully, and he even stopped by to show use how to use the TV remotes. I would say that the walkability of the place isn’t as good as it appears on the map because it sits on a large hill. However, that’s likely true of a lot of places in Lake Tahoe. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had a great experience overall. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the home and the amenities for two people. However, we encountered 5-10 bugs that looked like large ants that had entered the home, in various places (bedroom, in the hall, on the stairwell). This slightly detracted from our experience because we were worried where more would come from, and if this was an infestation that would affect our enjoyment of spaces such as the kitchen, e.g.

Summary: We loved the sofa bed in the living area to watch tv etc. tv operation was a bit challenging. Burnt out lightbulb in master bath. The heater blasted us out especially upstairs. All in all a wonderful stay
